I'm a B.Tech Computer Science student at JSS Academy of Technical Education, and a backend-leaning engineer at heart — I like designing APIs, data models, and services that hold up under real load, not just ones that work on my machine.

Off the clock, I go a layer deeper: Rust, Linux internals, and distributed systems are where I spend most of my "side gig" hours — understanding how a process gets scheduled, how bytes move across a network, and how a cluster of machines agrees on anything at all.

* * * * *Rustthe language I reach for when correctness matters

Systems-level Rust: ownership, lifetimes, and the borrow checker as a design partner rather than an obstacle. Built a POSIX-ish Unix shell from scratch to really internalize process control.

  • Wrote rsh — a Rust shell with pipelines, job control & tab completion
  • Comfortable with async runtimes, traits, and unsafe when it's justified
0 * * * *Linux & Systems Engineeringdaily driver, not a curiosity

Kernel fundamentals, process scheduling, the filesystem, and the shell — the layer most backend code quietly depends on. I'd rather understand it than treat it as a black box.

  • Comfortable across the stack: syscalls, signals, permissions, systemd
  • Debugging performance issues from the OS up, not just the app down
0 0 * * *Distributed Systemshow machines agree on anything

Consensus, replication, and failure modes — the theory behind every backend that has to survive more than one server. Reading papers and building small systems to test the ideas.

  • Studied consensus (Raft-style) and CAP trade-offs hands-on
  • Interested in blockchain infrastructure as applied distributed systems
